This is a plugin for Zbrush for Windows. (For Mac is not supported.)
This plugin assists the working of both GoB add-on and GoZ function. Please install GoB add-on in advance and confirm that it works properly.

Operating environment

Zbrush 2020.1.4 or later
Blender 2.83.2 or later
GoB Add-on Ver.3.4.2 or later

How to install
Unzip the 7z file and put the zsc file into the following folder.
(Example）
C:\Program Files\Pixologic\ZBrush 2020.1.4\ZStartup\ZPlugs64
I recommend these tools to unzip the 7z file, but you can also use your favorite tool.

Always receive emails from YAMATO Tools
7z files and unzip code are updated regularly. The code will be emailed to you. Be sure to receive and save it as archives because you can not see the code except by email.

Basic usage
Don't use the buttons of GoZ function where are in Tool window.
Use this plugin's buttons. See attached images.
- Start Zbrush
- Press the Clear button (highly recommended)
- Press the InitA button (highly recommended)
- Press the GoB button to transfer from Zbrush to Blender.
Conversely, if you want to transfer from Blender to Zbrush, press the GoB export button in Blender.
While this plugin is working properly, transferring an existing object ( transferred before) to a Zbrush Subtool will overwrite the Subtool's meshes. However, a history is also retained.
When you transfer a newly created object (such as Suzanne) from Blender to Zbrush, a new tool is created and transferred into it. If you turn on the Direct Transfer mode in advance and then GoB export from Blender, it will be added to the end of the currently selected tool. It is strongly recommended to press the Off button as soon as the Direct Transfer is completed, as the Direct Transfer mode has the risk of the name duplication problem. (Also, as a safety function, a warning may appear when you press the GoB, GoAll, GoVis buttons. Press each button again.)

Description of other buttons
InitA button initializes cache files for all Subtools.
InitS button only initializes the cache file of the selected Subtool. InitS button is useful for saving time when there are many Subtools, but basically it's recommended to press the Clear and InitA buttons.

Explanation of important matters (Relationship between GoB add-on, GoZ function and this plugin)
This plugin only has the function to prepare for the transfer before both GoB add-on and GoZ function work. The transfer itself will be realized by both GoB add-on and GoZ function.This plugin has not related to the transfer itself.
And this plugin is not related to development with either GoB add-on or GoZ function. Please contact the each developer for each behavior.
